Avocado toast in one the most popular breakfast dish out there right now. I have always wanted to try it for myself and see what the hype was all about. I finally tried and have been loving it ever since. And to top it off, it is also very healthy for you as avocado is full of fiber, potassium, vitamin C and healthy fats that help with cholesterol also. I know there are many people who hate it but it is all about everyone’s personal taste buds.

Here is a quick simple and easy recipe which I personally use to make avocado toast…

Ingredients:

  • 1 ripe Avocado
  • 1 tbsp. fresh lemon juice
  • Salt & Pepper
  • Slices of bread
  • Chili Flakes
  • Cilantro (for garnish)

Directions:

1. In a bowl, mash the avocado nicely.

2. Add lemon juice, salt, pepper and chilli flakes.

3. Spread the avocado mixture evenly across the toasted bread slice and sprinkle some chopped cilantro and chilli flakes over the top.

Voila! Here you go, breakfast is served… you can even have it for lunch or dinner 😉

It is a very quick and simple recipe which you can make anytime and which is also healthy for you…
